DayKeep Voice for Windows

One voice button for every app.

Hold Ctrl+Win and talk. DayKeep Voice types it where your cursor is, transcribed on your PC. No ads, ever.

Download for Windows

Windows 10 (version 1809 or later) or Windows 11, 64-bit.

The first time it opens, DayKeep Voice downloads its speech model, about 670 MB, so it can transcribe on your PC.

This installer is code-signed by Michael Prince. Windows may still show a blue “Windows protected your PC” screen for a new app. Choose More info, check that it names Michael Prince, then Run anyway.

Download for Android

Android 8.0 or later. To transcribe on the phone, it downloads its speech model, about 670 MB, the first time you ask, and needs 4 GB of memory or more.

How it works

In any app, wherever you can type.

  1. Put your cursor where the words should go.
  2. Hold Ctrl+Win and talk.
  3. Let go. Your words are typed in.

Say a task. It lands on your list.

Hold Ctrl+Alt+Win and say “Call Bob tomorrow at 3, high priority, on my Errands list.” It goes to DayKeep with its date, list and priority.

Clean words, first time.

It drops the ums and uhs, and writes your sentences with capitals and punctuation.

It learns your words.

Teach it a name or a term once on the Dictionary page, and it writes it your way from then on.

Private by design.

Speech is transcribed on your PC. Audio never leaves it unless you attach a recording to a note.
